BUDGET TIP: Garnier Skin Care & Hair Care

Garnier is a brand that has quickly become my go-to in the drugstore for hair care and skin care. It started with their famous Micellar Water and later on with their amazing range of shampoos. I feel like they really hit the nail on the head with their products, they are affordable and you all know I love a good bargain. Today I want to share with you my Garnier favorites and absolute staples for the upcoming Summer season!

- Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Gel €5.29

I wish Garnier would have launched this way back when they first slayed the market with their regular micellar water, because this SkinActive Cleansing Gel is not only a great makeup remover, it is a product that also treats and prevents breakouts. When I use a cleanser, to wash my face and remove my makeup, I need a product that is going to fight bacteria and make sure it is impossible for pimples to have a party on my face! I use this twice a day, morning and evening, with a cleansing brush and it works so well. Having tried other cleansers in the same price range that didn't work I'm very impressed by this product.

- Garnier Botanical Toner With Aloe Vera €4.29 (PR)

If you're looking to refresh your skin at the end of the day without having to go through the hassle of actually washing your face, try this! The Garnier Refreshing Botanical Toner. I love to use it especially on days where it's really hot and my skin needs a little pick me up in the evening right before going to bed. It smells really nice and my skin feels nice and cared for after. It is infused with Aloe Vera, which is an awesome skincare staple, and 96% of the ingredients are from natural origin, love!

- Garnier Ultra Doux Almond & Lotus Shampoo €3.09

This shampoo has been a long time repurchase of mine and has even been featured a couple of times in my Youtube videos. It seems like a rather basic formula but for a girl like me with thin hair and a rather greasy scalp this is a true gem! This shampoo contains no paraben, no silicones, no colorants, it's biodegradable and it softens and respects the hair. This is one of the only shampoos that will actually give my hair body and volume, I highly recommend it.

- Garnier Ultra Doux Fig & Golden Sugar Shower Gel €5.49 (PR)

The Garnier Ultra Doux Shower gels I am absolutely obsessed with. They cleanse the skin leaving it fresh and hydrated, which is awesome if you have dry skin like me, and the scent they have is always pleasant and on point. The Fig & Golden Sugar is their newest release and it's just as awesome as all my other favorites in this line which I recently featured on my Instagram. It's a little bit more up there in price I admit, as the regular shower gels only retail for €2.99, but it's absolutely delicious! When I use this in the shower the scent alone already gives me beachy summer vibes and I'm all for it. I often talk about these on my Snapchat and I currently have 2 others in my shower!

  1. Ooo..how i wish they have shampoo and shower gel that you mentioned above here in the netherlands. I could'nt find it in Etos or Kruidvat at the moment. Too bad though. But thanks for the review... Seems i will get them once i visit Belgium. ;)

    1. Wat a pity! What about your local supermarket? Maybe they have them :D The body wash is new though, so maybe it's not in stores yet where you live! Let's hope you'll find these awesome Garnier products soon! You're welcome :* Xxx

  2. I love the Garnier Micellar water, the one thing I don't like about it is the smell! I've never tried Garnier shower products before but I think I need to after this post

    1. To be honest, I've only had one bottle of the Garnier Micellar water that smelled weird and that's when I understood why people have an issue with it. Now I have a new bottle again and the smell is not there .. weird 0_0 x)

  3. I also am trying this shampoo :) it smells very good and also it is really foamy. I add shampoos to the water to make them less irritating on my sensitive skin,I never apply them directly on my hair. Will see, some of the shampoos are good for the first 3 month and then thay start to make my hair produce even more sebum and I feel the nned to wash my hair more often then normally, usually I wash my hair every 6 days to prevent it form drying.

    1. That's so great, I wash my hair almost every day, it's been greasy since the day I came out of my mother's womb lol and there is no way around it XD
