5X Drugstore Makeup Setting Sprays

Now that the hot weather is approaching I'm sure lots of you will be on the lookout for the best products to make sure your makeup stays put and flawless all day long. Who doesn't want to avoid becoming an oily mess or have their makeup melt off their face?! One of my favorite summer staples when it comes to makeup is a setting spray! I tried 5 from the drugstore and here are my thoughts.

Evian Facial Spray

- Great for prepping the face and ideal to set and refresh your makeup! This is a spray I love to toss in my bag on really hot days.

Yves Rocher Sensitive Vegetal Calming Facial Mist

- This is a a product I prefer to use as a moisturiser to prep the skin. I don't find it has any benefits used a makeup setting spray.

Lush Tea Tree Water

- I recommend the Lush Tea Tree Water for those of you who have dry skin and have issues with patchy and/or cakey makeup. It's especially nice to refresh the face and have a healthy, dewy makeup look that isn't oily or greasy.

Essence Instant Matt Makeup Setting Spray

- This is my least favorite spray of all the ones I have tried. I don't find it mattifying and neither does it make your makeup more longlasting.

Catrice Prime & Fine Multitalent Fixing Spray

- An awesome setting spray to prime the face, dampen your makeup sponges to apply your makeup and set everything in place. It's a solid sweat proof formula in travel size packaging!

Evian Facial Spray 150ml - €6.50
Yves Rocher Sensitive Vegetal Calming Facial Mist 150ml - €12.90
Lush Tea Tree Water 100ml - €6.95
Essence Instant Matt Makeup Setting Spray 50ml - €2.99
Catrice Prime & Fine Multitalent Fixing Spray 50ml - €4.59

  1. I really want to try the tea tree one. I'm currently using Artdeco 3in1 makeup fixing spray that is primer, fixing spray and refreshner at the same time and I have to say I really like the product. Great post as always.
    Love

    1. I've seen the Artdeco makeup brand around on Instagram and stuff but never in a drugstore! It sounds really good, thank you so much! Love Xxxx <3

    2. I bought it in a drug store called Müller. They are drugstore that also sells high end products. It 15€ I think, with a discount was 10€. <3

    3. Wow that's a very nice discount! :D

  2. I didn't know Evian did a facial mist, sounds like a good one to try!

    1. Oh they do! I started using it because a friend of mine pulled it out and started spraying to reduce the oils on her face, what I saw was impressive :D
