Yesterday I found out yet again that my content was being used without my knowledge or permission by a company with nearly 1 million followers on twitter, half a million on Facebook and not to mention their other social media pages. They took a collage I had assembled with images I had received from a press release and they just bluntly copied the title and the intro of my blogpost and posted it on their site to promote their beauty section. The worst part: my site wasn't linked, meaning I missed out on possibly thousands of potential new readers.

Let me start off by saying that I'm not a Kardashian stalker or a crazy super fan, my intent here is to review the KHLOÉ App from a beauty and lifestyle blogger point of view. I like the Kardashians, I like their show and yes I do keep up with them - but just so we are clear - I'm reviewing this just like I would review every other product/item/service on my site. I thought it would be fun to share my thoughts and let you know whether it's worth the subscription or not. My boyfriend surprised me with an iTunes card a couple weeks ago and I immediately knew I wanted to try one of the Kardashian/Jenner apps. Khloé is the one Kardashian sister I've been keeping up with the most lately, ever since her 'Revenge Body' series kicked off, so I decided to go with her app first! Let's have a look.

I've been following online creators since I was 16 years old and today, a decade later (I'm 26), I kinda regret only starting to create my own content about 3 years ago. All the girls I envied when I was a teenager have become successful women now, online icons. While I'm sure they've had many challenges to face and still do, to stand where they are presently, I've been feeling the disadvantages of starting 'late' and being a 'microblogger'. Successful content creators are only becoming more successful and the little ones, like me, are left swimming in the dirt, desperately trying to beat algorithms. Growing your blog 'organically' has very much become a thing from the past and being a blogzilla sells souls. Here's why growing an audience blogging just isn't what it used to be.

When I look back at some of the things that I wrote on my site about my struggle with depression and anxiety, therapy and mental health, I'm slightly uncomfortable. In many posts I state that I'm 'sober' when it is very apparent I'm in a lot of distress and that I'm hurting. Therapy is a process and a long one. It's also not as straightforward as it is sometimes made out to be in movies, school or society as a whole. It is so much more than just talking about your feelings and your past. It's about coming to the realisation that things were not okay, why they weren't okay and how exactly everything played out the way it did. In my case I'm confronted a lot with the choices my parents made, how I was raised, and it's extremely confusing and painful. So painful in fact that it is making the relationship with my family very difficult. I can't bring myself to pick up their phone calls or even talk to them over text. When my phone rings my eyes widen in fear and I can feel the panic rushing through my veins.
Affordable Drugstore Brushes

It was only when I started using the Zoeva Rose Gold Eye Set that I understood the importance of having quality makeup tools. My eyeshadow skills made such great progress using this set I couldn't quite believe it. The Zoeva Rose Golden Complete Eye Set is an eyeshadow set of 12 brushes, and in this post I want to share with you my top 4 most used brush picks that are excellent for those of you who have small or hooded eyes. I always thought that doing eyeshadow was something impossible to experiment with when having hooded eyes, let me tell you, as long as you're using the right gear it isn't! You can purchase every brush individually and slay that eye makeup look like a pro.
