Illuminating Primer, Mattifying Primer
-hygienic packaging
-formula becomes colourless when blended
-creates a smooth & glowing makeup base
-minimises pores
Cons
-smells unpleasant
-consistency looks like bird poo
-doesn't smooth out fine lines
My thoughts:
Personally I'm not too thrilled about the formula of this product. The primer looks like it has gone bad, the product is separated and gross looking, it's definitely not something I am eager to apply on my face. If that doesn't bother you, I would say that it's quite a good primer. I'm not sure if it's worth €7 however, I expect something better for that price tag.

Cons
-smells like paint
-settles into fine lines (!!)
-gives mask effect
-formula is not weightless
-formula is rather drying
-formula doesn't settle, stays sticky
-appears rather cakey when set with powder
My thoughts:
I've never seen any low budget makeup brand nailing a formula so white, without it oxidising, which is amazing news for people who have an extremely pale skin tone. I'm not a big fan of this foundation myself, because it doesn't live up to its claims at all, but I do think it's a product that will be appreciated by a lot of you. It's full coverage, has a great longlasting formula, a decent shade range and retails for only €7. This foundation has potential.

PRIMARK PS PRO HD Brows Longwear Eyebrow Pen €4
Pros
-pigmented
-easy to blend
-easy to remove
Cons
-smells like a regular marker
-tip not easy to work with, no flexibility
My thoughts:
I was very surprised with this product. I somehow imagined it not being blendable and difficult to remove, but I really like it. The felt tip is not well thought through to draw your brows on, but with a bit of patience the completed look turns out great and long wearing.
Pros
- (none)
Cons
-extremely sticky
-tastes bad
-acts like glue that doesn't dry when pressing lips together
-cannot be applied evenly
-tip is not flexible
-becomes patchy
My thoughts:
I do not recommend this product whatsoever.

Pros
-beautiful nude color
-comfortable formula
Cons
-not full coverage
-greasy feeling
-very sheer formula
-not longlasting
My thoughts:
This lipstick looks and feels very cheap, both the packaging and the lipstick itself. It kinda reminds me of the Elf 1 dollar lipsticks, I was very disappointed when I opened up the little box. It's a okay product but not something I would repurchase, I have better low budget lipsticks in my collection.
Claims
- (none)
Facts
-shade 01 Supermodel Nude
-standard/dow foot lipgloss applicator
-regular lipgloss formula
-no shimmer
-2 more shades available:
Bombshell Pink, Femme Fatale
Pros
-non sticky
-nice color pay off
-doesn't separate
-smells like vanilla ice cream
Cons

My thoughts:
This PS Pro Primark lipgloss is nice, I compared it to a couple of other budget friendly glosses and it definitely stands out. The pigmentation is nice and it wears well. I also like the packaging, it's very pretty and minimalistic.

I used to be a big fan of primark way before they got so hyped and all. I do feel that the quality of their products have decreased ever since they gained in popularity. Never the less I've always disliked their make-up for all the negative points you've listed. I prefer using Catrice for a budgetproof option and some basics from MAC ;)
ReplyDeleteI discovered Primark only about a year ago, it's an okay shop, I don't see why people are so obsessed with it because some of their products are indeed very bad quality. I go there to pick up on trends for the most part :) The prices of this makeup line are ridiculous to me, you're much better off spending your money on classic and more trustworthy makeup brands, Catrice is also one of my fav options :D
Xxx
DeleteThat's so weird that the primer has the consistency of bird poo! seems like there is a lot of negative points about primarks makeup.. the only products I have and like are their sponges and a glitter eyeliner

Their sponges are really good in fact, I use them too :D Xxxx
DeleteI've bought some products from both their PS range and their Pro one. When I saw the pro range i was a bit skeptical of whether it was pro or not. I haven't tried the products yet, but i bought them to do a review of them on my blog. I bought a concealer from the pro range and it the lid just sides off. You literally can't screw it on at all, think it must be broken. x
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the review! Some products from Primark are really good, other not so much :) it's probably broken yes .. Have a nice weekend dear! xxx
DeleteI've tried the products and aren't really impressed with them, the quality in general is not good. I only really liked the liquid lipstick and illuminating primer. I also credited you in the my blog post as i really liked how honest you are about these products. Your blog is the only other one i have read that gives these products an honest review.
