5 Signs You're Dating a Fuckboy

Fuckboys are on the rise. They'll do everything a potential boyfriend would do but then as soon as they have a hold of all your feels, they'll drop you like a piece of garbage. Being introduced to his family, his friends and being treated like a princess, honestly can we even take that seriously anymore? They seem to genuinely care about you but will just as easily ghost you from one day to another, with no explanation. Here are 5 signs that you're dating a fuckboy.

Essence Make Me Brow Eyebrow Gel Review

After multiple makeup brands started releasing tinted brow gels with fibers, I knew Essence Cosmetics would eventually follow, the best news is: they went for a Benefit Gimme Brow dupe. The packaging of both products is almost identical: small, compact, very travel friendly and of course way cheaper. Essence released three different eyebrow gel shades, 01 Blondy Brows for blondes, 02 Browny Brows for people with dark eyebrows and 03 Soft Browny Brows for brunettes. Let's have look!

Things To Think About Before Moving In Together With Your Boyfriend

I see so many women, mostly freshly graduated, moving out of their parents home and going straight to buying houses or renting an apartment with their boyfriend. As logical as that might sound, I'm happy for them but I'm also taken back by it. I moved into a dorm when I was 18, travelled to Italy when I was 19 and started living there full time when I was 20. That's when I got a real taste of what it was to grow up and spend time with myself, essentially. It's true that me and my boyfriend started living together after barely knowing each other for a year, but I was 22 and he was 27. We both had lived alone, with friends, host families, and we had a sense of life. What adulting was like, running a place of your own, having space for yourself and developing your identity.

TOP 5 Foods for a Healthy Mind & Body

I'm not a doctor, psychologist or nutritionist but I do know first hand what depression and anxiety can do to your mind and your body. I know how tempting sugary and unhealthy foods can be and how the complete opposite, like starving yourself, can also seem like a good idea. I know how 'devouring lots of fruits and veggies' sounds like absolute bull crap, because at times that's all you eat and still, you feel worn-out and consumed by sadness. The anxiety that comes with depression also plays a big role, as it doesn't only induce fear, it often makes for a rather painful stomach, and poor digestive tract. Here are the foods that I have found that make for a healthy mindset and beat anxiety and depression to its core.

3 Of The Biggest Mistakes Host-Families Make When Taking An Au Pair On Vaca

Hiring an au pair or nanny to join you on vacation to take care of your children is a great idea. You'll have more time for yourself, enjoy the vacation you deserved for so long and worked so hard for, and your children will have someone completely dedicated to them and their needs, plus an extra amount of fun and excitement. Unfortunately I'd like to stop you right there. Yes, you deserve to go on that dream vacation but asking an au pair to join you on a holiday is also about hosting a guest and respecting that. Here are 3 of the biggest mistakes host-families make when taking an au pair/nanny on vacation.

LIDL Makeup⎜Cien BB cream all-in-one review

LIDL has an affordable makeup collection by the name of Cien Beauty carrying products such as foundation, lipstick, lipgloss and more recently the Cien all-in-one BB cream SPF 15. Blemish balm creams are a great Summer staple, especially for a light and luminous makeup look. Here are my thoughts on the most affordable BB cream on the beauty market yet!

I'm A Realist And A Dreamer

I noticed whenever I write a personal post, I'm either very sad or very happy. I'm nothing in-between like today, never, and I want to change that. Even though I like to look back at my personal posts I've been feeling very conscious about them the last few months, I've been worried that a lot of you might think I'm a negative person. I'm not an optimist, I know that for a fact, but I'm not a pessimist either, I'm a realist and a dreamer.

My Experience As An Au Pair / Nanny Abroad

Six years ago I packed my bags to go and work as live-in nanny in Italy. I went to live with a family in Milan, take care of their children part time and learn all about Italians and their culture. I never planned to stay 4 years! It was the most amazing adventure and today I want to share with you my nanny and au pair experience with tips about children, host parents, host families, babysitting and living abroad alone.

My In-Law Horror Story

Back in May 2015 a family gathering was planned in my apartment, for my boyfriend. He was turning 30 and his family wanted to fly over (from Italy to Belgium) to celebrate. Even though I was anxious about it I was very happy for him and he assured me everything would be fine. I didn't end up celebrating much of that birthday, I had gone completely insane already days before that. The way I was treated by my in-laws, in my own house, was horrific. Every time I think about it my heart rate raises and I become extremely sad and angry, my anxiety levels go trough the roof and I've had enough. Even though this is a very personal story I still want to post it on my blog so I can finally let it go. I divided it in different parts so it's easier for you to read, I didn't think it would end up being so long.

Tarte Cosmetics⎢Tartelette In Bloom Eyeshadow Palette Review & Swatches

I don't remember the last time I got so excited about a high end eyeshadow palette, not to mention a(nother) nude eyeshadow palette (again). As soon as reviews and swatches from the Tartelette In Bloom palette started popping up like mushrooms after a rain I knew I had to get my hands on it asap. Tarte Cosmetics's eyeshadows have a very good reputation, and for someone who's never tried anything from the brand what better way to start off with than a nice, neutral palette with an edge!

Why I stopped using Elf Cosmetics makeup

As I was reorganising my makeup collection yesterday I noticed how I had placed all the Elf Cosmetics makeup products in my 'throw away pile'. I've been very unfortunate when it comes to Elf makeup and after giving it some thought I concluded that it was about time I'd share with you why as I can, for sure, not be the only one who's had issues with their products. Elf Cosmetics is a low budget brand with a great range of makeup at super affordable prices, which in Europe is mainly sold online. I received mine in a makeup swap I did in my early Youtube days with the lovely LJ James. I had specifically asked her to get me some Elf products and I was really excited about it!

Things I Want To Let Go in 2016

The article you're about to read I wrote when I was in a very, very dark place. It's been among my drafts on Blogger ever since and I never really knew what to do with it. Every time I read it, it makes me cry and it reminds me of how I never want to go back to that place again. This is what I want to let go in 2016 and if possible, forever.
