Primark Just Peachy Eyeshadow Palette

Primark Just Peachy Eyeshadow Palette

Primark has yet another limited edition collection available in their stores! Peach is, hands down, the makeup color of the moment and Primark Beauty decided to release their very own twist on a 'peachy' palette featuring an array of beautiful warm eyeshadows. Having tried multiple Primark makeup palettes in the past I was very excited about this collection. The packaging they have chosen for this line is beyond cute and the peachy scent of the products is just a great little touch. I chose to review the Just Peachy Eyeshadow Palette. If you are interested there also is a Cheeky Peachy Blush & Highlight Palette available, Perfect Shine lipglosses, Perfect Shine nail polishes and Peachy Keen Lip Souffles. Let's have a look!

Primark Just Peachy Eyeshadow Palette

The Primark Just Peachy Eyeshadow palette consists of a total of 9 eyeshadows: 4 of them are matte, 2 have a metallic finish, there's also one shimmer (the pink eyeshadow on the left in the middle), one with a pearl finish (the purple eyeshadow) and the last eyeshadow has a satin finish (the pink eyeshadow on the top right). I really love the combination of the different finishes, it makes this palette very versatile and allows for a lot of creativity.

The two matte browns, the purple and the 2 metallic eyeshadows are definitely my top picks. They are the eyeshadows that I reach for the most when I use this palette. They are pigmented, smooth and have a quality feel to them. The pink shimmery color and the rest of the mattes in this Peachy eyeshadow palette are also pigmented but quite powdery, especially the shimmery one. I think they should have left that one out and replaced it with maybe a pearl or satin finish white/beige color, to be applied on the brow bone and inner corner of the eye.

Primark Just Peachy Eyeshadow Swatches

I love to use the browns in the crease, the metallics all over the lid and the purple eyeshadow on the bottom lash line. I'm crazy about the metallics especially because they have this very intense wet effect on the eyes that is absolutely beautiful. I feel like a mermaid when I wear them. I do have to admit that these eyeshadows are not the easiest to blend out, I'm talking about the matte ones in particular, so make sure you use a proper eye makeup base and have some patience when it comes to the blending process. I promise it's worth it!

Primark Just Peachy Eyeshadow Look

Even though I was sceptical about a lot of the shades at first, because of the way some of them felt and swatched, I actually think this is a great little palette. The shades are very pigmented and the colors show up beautifully on the eyes. Of course I still have my own personal favorites when it comes to some of the colors but I've happily used this palette for the past couple of weeks and I was enthusiastic about all my eyeshadow looks. I'll be hanging on to this palette for a while, it's perfect for the Fall season.

  1. Oh my, this is gorgeous. I'm always very surprised when you really light skinned people pull off those really warm browns. I love that shade in the bottom left! Though, overall the palette seems to be a little too light colored, probably, for my own skin.
But between this palette and the holo nail polishes I see pop up on Insta lately, I'm really sad there's no Primark nearby where I live. The next one is about an hour train ride from here, with a 20€ train ticket – and that's just money I'd need more urgently elsewhere than waste on transportation. *wistful sigh*

    1. Train tickets have gone up like crazy, as a single adult everything is just so expensive! When I ask Marco for a train ticket his heart stops haha. I also thought in the beginning that warm toned shades would be a little too much for me but ever since I got to try the Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette I'm obsessed 👌🏻😍 Xxx
