NEW Maybelline Master Bronze Palette Review

Maybelline has slayed us yet again with another palette: the Master Bronze Color & Highlighting Kit! A couple weeks ago I received a generous PR package from the brand with loads of their new products and I couldn't be more excited to tell you all about this beauty. Contouring and highlighting palettes have been around for a while but the cosmetics industry has clearly decided to provide us with new and improved bronzer kits for the Summer season. How did Maybelline do? Let's find out!

This is a very eye catching palette, even thought the packaging is standard Maybelline, the print of the actual product is gorgeous and definitely sleek. It recently made it into drugstores and it surely did not escape me, I was actually planning on purchasing this palette myself until I realised I'd already did quite some extensive makeup shopping, check that out here! This palette has been launched together with the Maybelline's Master Blush Palette, which I will also be reviewing on my blog, but just in case you'd like me to spill all the tea on that one right now check out my Youtube video where I demo all the products I received in the PR package here.

The color selection in this palette I really like, there's variety and I feel like Maybelline tried to create a product that would work for a lot of different skin tones. Starting from the left we have a champagne gold highlighter, a warm bronzer with red undertones, a basic brown bronzer and a bronzer that leans more towards being a taupy kinda color. All the shades have a satin finish and swatch super smooth. I'm impressed, I've tried a contour kit from Maybelline before and this formula is definitely a big improvement from what I've previously experienced.

I like the feel of the product and the pigmentation is awesome. The product is very soft and it applies and blends nicely into the skin, almost like a baked product would. I'm a big fan of baked products because of their ability to make dull skin looks smooth and radiant. My favorite shades in the palette are definitely the highlighter and the 2 bronzers on the right of the palette, the brown and the taupe. A mix of the two look gorgeous blended out on the perimeter of the face, all the way down the jaw and then the neck. I also like to apply a little bit on the cheek bones for an extra tan look. The highlighter is intense and compliments the colors in the palette very well. I'm a fan!

I know there's many bronzing kits on the market but this Maybelline Master Bronze palette definitely stands out to me. I think it's different from other kits in the sense that all the colors complement each other beautifully, and that all the shades can be worn at the same time, in one makeup look! I recommend it.

The Maybelline Master Bronze Palette is available exclusively at Di & Kruidvat for the retail price of €15.99

  2. I liked reading about this product! Maybelline has definitely upped their makeup game, and it seems like this product is no exception. I've also recently heard amazing things about their single highlighters! (I don't remember the name of it at the moment) xxx

  3. I really enjoyed reading this post, I picked up the blusher palette recently but I've only swatched it so far. This palette looks lovely, the colours really do look like they compliment each other well.
