5X Drugstore Highlighters To Get Your Glow On

As of late I've been going a little over the top with my highlighter, so much so that when I do my makeup I'm tempted to cover my entire face with it - avoiding that I look like a disco ball of course. I have quite a cute collection of drugstore glow in my makeup stash that is very capable of doing so! Each and every single highlighter is a personal favorite, most are oldies but goodies, I also included a brand new liquid highlighter from Maybelline and these won't cover your face in cheap shimmer, let's have a look!

- Maybelline Master Strobing Liquid Highlighter

The longer I use this Maybelline highlighter, the more I am impressed with its formula. I love to apply a generous amount on my cheeks and my t-zone and let it set before moving onto foundation and concealer. Even when it looks like you've applied too much, the rest of your face makeup will go on flawlessly and you'll look like you have a gorgeous sunshine glow!

- Essence Pure Nude Highlighter

In most places this highlighter is discontinued, but if you can get your hands on it I highly recommend it. It has the smoothest high quality formula, I even use it as a setting powder at times because it makes your skin just look so luminous and healthy.

- 2B Cheek Pop Highlighter

I don't think I've ever seen anyone talk about this highlighter, yet I find it qualifies as one of the best low budget highlighters on the market. The formula is smooth and lays beautiful on the skin. It's probably the most intense, beaming highlighter in this top 5.

- KIKO Wet & Dry Eyeshadow

This golden eyeshadow is perfect used as a highlighter on the cheeks, the cupid's bow, the brow bone etc. it really makes your features stand out. Formula wise this highlighter is similar to the one from 2B, only that the pigment is more easier to build up.

- Shaka Highlighter Stick

I'm usually not that into stick products but this one is quite remarkable. It layers on top of makeup beautifully, like the one from Maybelline, it sets nicely and blends really well. A great plus is that is smells like a sweet cupcake, love!
