CC creams are my ride or die when it comes to makeup. It stands for 'Color Correcting' cream and is a great solution for anyone who struggles with skin that is prone to redness, dark spots or hyperpigmentation. The best CC cream I have encountered to so far is the 2B Cosmetics CC cream. The formula is lightweight, it has a light to medium coverage and it's incredibly affordable. I wear CC creams because it makes my skin look flawless but leaves it still able to breathe, and look naturally healthy. Etos promises us a color correcting, radiance boosting cream with medium coverage! Let's have a look.
Etos has 3 shades available for this CC Radiance cream: Light, Medium and Dark. I have to admit, especially from taking a look at the swatch (pictures below), I find the Light shade that I picked up to appear quite dark. The packaging of this CC cream is very high end-like and looks a bit similar to Clinique skin care. I like it! The product comes in a regular tube of 30 ml and has an SPF of 15.
Etos CC Cream claims:
"The Perfect solution for dull and pale looking skin, creates a natural and luminous look. Blemish Balm complex improves the skin tone and the light reflective pigments create an anti wrinkle effect."
Unfortunately I'm not at all pleased with this CC cream. Only by reading the claims on the product already it seems that Etos is very uninformed about what a CC cream actually is (meaning not a BB cream). Apart from that, even the product itself is far from great: the scent is very much like paint, the coverage of the cream is close to nothing and every possible wrinkle on your face is accentuated after application. It does indeed create a slight healthy looking sheen but for the amount of fine lines that I discovered on my skin after wearing this, it is not worth my makeup time.
