Essence Makeup Collection created by BLOGGERS

Essence Cosmetics has been working on a super secret project, together with 4 beauty bloggers, to create the Bloggers' Beauty Secrets trend edition makeup collection! Every blogger got to create a makeup palette and a nail polish, let's have a look: Diana zur Löwen from Dfashion created a true all-rounder with a 'Touch up to go!' palette, Palmira from beautypalmira focused on the eyes with a 'Vintage rose' palette. Mary Oliver from Strikeapose presents a contouring palette for the eyes and brows called 'Shape & Shadow', keeping up with the latest trend, and Serena Verbon from Beautylab ensures a wow-complexion and fabulous eye makeup for the summer season with her 'The glow must go on' palette.

Essence Pure Nude Highlighter 10 Be My Highlight Baked Powder Review & Swatches

If you haven't tried anything from the Essence Cosmetics's Pure Nude makeup line, you are missing out. They have a fabulous foundation I have reviewed previously on my blog, called the Pure Nude Makeup Foundation, and multiple other face products including this new Pure Nude Highlighter in the shade 10 be my highlight. This product was part of the new Essence makeup releases at the beginning of this year, as soon as it hit the shelves I was in for this review.

When you feel like you're just not good enough

I'm so accustomed to being treated like crap that I become emotional and overwhelmed when strangers are genuinely nice to me. I was at the drugstore today, to purchase products I was running low on as an older lady noticed how convinced I was of the makeup I was picking up. She asked which mascara would be great to lengthen her short lashes, I pointed out a few options, and that was that. She was nice to me and I couldn't help but being surprised.

Miss Sporty Perfect Stay 10H Pressed Powder

Not so long ago I reviewed the NYC Smooth Skin BB Radiance Perfecting Powder and on a recent trip to the Netherlands I had another chance to check out makeup display from Miss Sporty Cosmetics and fell on an item looking exactly the same: the Perfect Stay 10H Pressed Powder in 001 Light. NYC only has 2 shades available of their powder and even the lightest is too dark for me. Miss Sporty had more variety, 4 to be exact. Since I already was a fan of the Perfect Stay 10H Concealer from this brand I was really looking forward to making a comparison between the two powders, and potentially using it as a setting powder on a daily basis. Let's have a look!

2 Months of Therapy, Life & Goals

My therapist explained to me I wasn't given the tools or foundation to grow as a person. I burned out because I've been trying to find myself and find a supportive environment my whole life and lacked help. Even though I've learned a lot of things about myself in the past couple of years and am fully aware of character I don't know how to utilize that information to my advantage. I can't help but panicking every single time I think about my future and I feel like I've failed when it comes to the basics about what is expected from a human being.

Essence Eyebrow Gel Pomade Review

When it comes to makeup trends Essence Cosmetics is always on top of the game, and the coloured brow gel trend is no exception. We've all seen how the Anastasia Dipbrow Pomade absolutely slayed it in the eyebrow universe and became very loved in the beauty community. It was only a matter of time before drugstore makeup brands would follow. When Essence released their new makeup at the beginning of 2016 one of those products was the Eyebrow Gel Colour & Shape in the shade 01 Brown. It was my first time trying a brow pomade, ever, did it live up to my expectations? Here are my thoughts.

L'Oreal Cushion Foundation Review

L'Oreal Paris is not a brand I often reach for when it comes to makeup, but they are the first ones to have caught up on the cushion makeup foundation trend around here, so as soon as my drugstore stocked up on this product I just had to try it. I would lie if I said the rave reviews of many beauty bloggers have not intrigued me one little bit. L'Oreal released three different cushion foundations: the True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation, the Nude Magic Cushion Foundation and the Lucent Magique Cushion Lumiere Foundation. I purchased the L'Oreal Nude Magique Cushion Foundation in shade 03 Vanilla, which is the second to lightest shade of the range (in Belgium). I must say the shade is pretty much a perfect match for my pale skin tone.
