Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer Review & Swatches UPDATE

Collection Cosmetics is a low budget makeup brand sold in the UK and feature Francesca Neill, a celebrity makeup artist, as their ambassador. The Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer has been a must have for many beauty blogger for quite a while so I decided to purchase this product on a trip to London, some time ago, in the shade 1 Fair. Is it really worth the hype? Let's find out in this review.

Brussels Terrorist Attacks Thoughts & Feelings #JeSuisBruxelles

I was on my way to run some errands when I realized something in the center of Brussels was really off, there was an unusual amount of police cars and ambulances driving at very high speed, through all the traffic. Being the observant person I am, I decided to check if my intuition was right. It only took me a phone call to know what was going on: two terrorist attacks, one around 8 AM in Brussels Airport and the next at 9.11 AM in the European quarter. I had left the house at 9.15. Those responsible for the attacks in Paris were taken into custody just days ago and now innocent people were targeted again?

Essence Cosmetics Shape Your Face Contouring Palette Review & Swatches

Contouring and highlighting is trending and it certainly hasn't escaped the eye of low budget makeup brands. Essence Cosmetics released two 'Shape Your Face Contouring Palettes': 10 Ready, set, peach! and 20 Ready, set, pink!. I included this peachy palette in a massive 2016 Essence Makeup Collection haul and now that I've gotten a chance to play around with it I cannot wait to share my thoughts with you.

Dear dad, you should have showed up

Dear dad, do you remember I used to prepare a card for you at school, with a handwritten poem, for father's day? To then read it to you in the kitchen, right in front of the dishwasher, all proud and shy, in the evening after dinner? I have something different for you today.

Essence Cosmetics Longlasting Velvet Matt Lipsticks Review & Swatches

The Essence Cosmetics 2016 makeup collection has been launched and loads of brand new products have been added to the permanent collection. I've always loved Essence lipsticks so I did not hesitate to purchase every single new release: 3 nude lipsticks which I have already reviewed and 4 longlasting lipsticks that I will review for you today: 21 Très Chic, 22 Girl Next Door, 23 Velvet Matt and 24 Velvet Matt.

Catrice Cosmetics Limited Edition⎢ Denim Divine

Jeans, a living fashion legend. From the robust worker’s trousers of the 19th century to today’s universal look. Jeans have consistently adapted to the contemporary movements over the past 50 years and have therefore become one of the social must-haves. No other fabric is as versatile and is used by designers as often as denim. The runway pictures of the summer collections confirm that jumpsuits, tight-fitting denim dresses combined with blue jeans are the trends of the season.

LIFE UPDATE⎜My sobriety, making changes & what I do for a living

Life after depression is weird, I almost feel like I sobered up somehow, like an alcoholic who quit drinking. My mind is clear and the sadness that was a part of myself for so long is no longer there and it feels good, but unfamiliar. It's making me a bit anxious, I know that I am able to do great things now but I don't really know where to start. The realisation that I am worthy of living and worthy of being respected by the living around me is scary.

Essence Cosmetics Nude Velvet Matt Lipsticks Review & Swatches

Essence Cosmetics has added new lipsticks to their permanent makeup collection of 2016, and considering I'm still very much obsessed with the #ilovenude trend edition lipsticks, the nude velvet matts certainly deserved a spot in my stash. Essence released three new shades: 06 Don't stop the Nude, 07 Velvet MATT and 08 Velvet MATT. Even though nr 06 is not actually labeled velvet matt, I decided to include it anyway since it was part of Essence's new cosmetics launch. Here are my thoughts.

Essence Mousse Concealer Review & Swatches

Essence Cosmetics released new makeup products for 2016 and this Soft Touch Mousse Concealer is one of the items I featured in my recent massive Essence makeup haul. The concealer is a new addition to the Soft Mousse Makeup range and promises to hide dark under eye circles and skin irregularities. I'm not familiar with the 'mousse concealer' concept, I haven't seen it around among other low budget makeup brands and thought it was very interesting and different, let's take a look.
