Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer Review & Swatches UPDATE

Collection Cosmetics is a low budget makeup brand sold in the UK and feature Francesca Neill, a celebrity makeup artist, as their ambassador. The Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer has been a must have for many beauty blogger for quite a while so I decided to purchase this product on a trip to London, some time ago, in the shade 1 Fair. Is it really worth the hype? Let's find out in this review.

I don't like this product: the formula is thick, dry and difficult to blend. It creases, accentuates fine lines and turns my under eyes grey and dull. Any powder I apply on top cakes up and it's just not a great look. From what I have seen, bloggers make it look so easy to use, I can confirm this product gets way too much credit for what it actually is. If you have an oily skin type this probably is great concealer, but when it comes to anything from normal to dry skin, I do not recommend this product. T
he font and texts on the packaging however have completely faded, I have indeed found a great use for it. This concealer is an excellent eye primer. The tacky finish holds on to eyeshadows very well and prevents them from creasing.

Here are the names of three other low-budget concealers that are much better than this concealer ever will be: Catrice Liquid Camouflage Concealer (€3.59-), Miss Sporty Perfect Stay 10H Concealer (€2.99-), 2B Cosmetics Illuminating Correcting Cream (€5.50-).

  5. I totally agree this concealer is really overhyped, it looks unnatural, cakey yet covers nothing. The maybelline age rewind is much better x
